Hi all~
Summer break has been pretty chill ~ though, I wish it was cooler.. This is what took place in June:
I graduated high school on June 1st. :O
Arrived at 7:30 [Emeseek, Andiek]
People were standing around taking pics, hugging teachers, drinking water
All the girls got a blue rose, which we didn’t really know where to put, lol
Saw Andrea, Ashlie, Ann, Jessica Stewart..found my walking buddy, Whitni ^^
Saw Mr. Root, Ms. Lewis, and Ms. Sheble (practically all of my teachers)
Lined up behind Antonio and in front of Brenden, waiting for ceremony to start
Walked across the field – teachers were waving at us with kind smiles and cheering us on :D
Principal delivered remarks about school…national anthem
Introducing valedictorian and salutatorian – EE-Lynn and Rohit
Tyler and Patrick delivered their speeches…Tyler’s was about FB, Patrick’s was about Super Mario World, haha [so epic!! Everyone was laughing]
Then, Distinguished Scholars turn… Hartrick handed out diplomas to everyone… I was the 8th graduate!! :D [IB candidates went depending on GPAs]
After that, High Honors Scholars…there were a lot more of them than Distinguished…
Then, everyone else (the other 500+ people left…some with Honors, but mostly just regular people)
Total: 767 graduates!
Then, Alma Mater
People threw up caps and cheered for freedom!!!! =D
Lots of fireworks at the end (pink and yellow…bright colors)
Had trouble finding people on field….finally found my friends (parents and Debra, first, though)
Took graduation pics with Debra, Ashlie, Dillon, Erin, Geoffrey, Sean, Ann, Andrea, Charlie, Kelsey, Joanne, and Jessica :3
Rushed home to get ready for Grad Night (a lot of my friends were going, which was great, with the exception of Dillon, Ashlie, Andrea)
Then it was Grad Night!!
Arrived at midnight
Played game on computer to win prizes – won $25 Cheesecake Factory gift card :D (also won free car washes, haircut, and
Found Carol’s group (Brittany, Alex, Luis, etc…)
Had some nachos and lemonade :3 (food was free pretty much)
Rock climbing, trampoline, fighting with inflatable thingies, mini golf, boat ride, bumper cars, arcade games (DDR, air hockey, etc..kinda like Peter Piper)
Met up with Erin and Geoffrey – waited in really long line for bumper cars… in the meantime we chatted away about random stuff…Geoffrey was acting kinda goofy and talking nonstop and really loudly…Erin was really tired XD we met up with Ann in line
Bumper cars were awesome – really fast, wind in my hair!!
Then, water ride – got soaking wet xP
Then, mini golf
Then, jumping on trampoline w/ Jessica
Then, arcade games (we found 7 tokens on the ground!) We played DDR (DDR machine ate our tokens.. x.x), air hockey, basketball, and that bowling game C:
We received 31 tickets and used them to buy 3 rings, 1 pink ring for myself, and a mystery box (which, to our disappointment, was a gum ball XP) so that was pretty neat
Got bored and tired – spent last thirty minutes sitting in the grass talking with Jessica – she showed us her prize (new bike!), we talked about girly stuff… Charlie came along—he and Geoff tried talking about guy stuff xD
At 4:00 – announced winners of Suns t-shirts and other prizes – grand prize ($2011 winner = Shelby Salas)
Had milk/orange juice and donuts before we headed home, courtesy of parents who helped support Grad Night
Arrived home at 4:45 =/ (slept for 4 hours the next day…dead tired =/)
AWESOME, UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT =)
I chilled the next few days and got ready for Pyro Night, where we gathered in an area to burn our old papers that we didn't need from school. I mainly brought scratch paper and government stuff, lol. xD There was a shitload of papers to burn!
Then, my grad party took place from 6-12 pm =D
AWESOMENESS!

Lots of yummy food, good company
Debra, Kiwi, and Tomi arrive at 5 – Kiwi at 5:40
Chillin in my room and Robbie’s – talking about school and relationship stuff
Guests started arriving at 6/6:30 ish (Erin, Sean, Laura, Ashley, etc…)
Yearbook signing!
Ate at 7-ish…I chatted with adults, was disappearing randomly from table
Eating, chatting, Connor telling us about prospective Italian restaurant, the teens all had a table, lol
Very nice weather outside…good atmosphere. Cannot believe we were able to fit that many tables and chairs in the grass xD
Adi arrived
Sean and Tomi played guitar in my room and watched some techno beatboxing video XD
Decided to go swimming with the whole gang! Changed, while changing ppl watched my senior slideshow
At the pool, Connor, Cal, Robbie, and Sean were messing around… Adi barely got into water, we coaxed her into it xP
Adi, Hanna, Laura, Debra, and I had interesting convos about college, cultures, life…
Debra left; we walked to backyard and wanted to go into the hot tub
I demanded Cal and Robbie to get out; we all jumped in (7 of us)
Geoffrey came at 9:15-ish (while we were in the hot tub XD).. He jumped in, but then Dad had to kick someone out, so Connor sacrificed himself
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, but it was difficult to find a seat XD
Ate chocolate graduation cake [we almost forgot about it]; tried to come up with lyrics to graduation song, lol
Sean played Holiday, Expo German song, and other music at the table outside
Played Apples to Apples with Hanga and Helga – watched senior slideshow while doing that
Me and Geoffrey lolling – Sean and Ashley random hugging
People started leaving…Sean was the last one left, he left at 11:30-ish
Interesting convos with Sean about hugs and businessmen o.O...Opened prezzies…got lots of money and gift cards, as well as a friendship bracelet and bookmark from Laura, a book from Emeseek, and cookies from Gary Rogers :3
EPIC PARTY, YEAH!
Por lo general, in the summer, I have been doing a lot of Java and driving to prepare for college, but this is what happened specifically on particular days...
Jun 8 - Ashley came over :) Dueled with Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and played Just Dance
Jun 9 - Mall w/ Dillon :] We randomly saw Tony at Hollister...odd o.o
Jun 10 - Got my Bank of America card! :D
Jun 11 - Hanga + Helga’s party :] There was a mad scientist who performed experiments that were cool to watch... two amazing birthday cakes, lots of swimming
Jun 12 - Bought new car!! [Toyota Rav~] It's my mom's car, but hopefully I will inherit it next year... AHHH~
Jun 15th - Calc CLEP test...hope my AP score will be better!
Jun 16 - ASU appt @ 10:00 - we managed to sort things out regarding college credit and parking~~time to buy textbooks!
Jun 19 - Alex’s performance at Sunset Library [Acoustic Vibrations] - great work, guys; Father’s Day dinner @ Souper Salad...food was decent, I suppose -- not my fave buffet, persay
Jun 20 - Dentist appt [no cavities!] + Fry’s -- haven't been to Fry's for a while, so that was nice ^^
Jun 21 - Kohl’s -- shopping spree... bought lots of clothes, then headed to Chick Fil A...Ashley @ 2 :)
Jun 22 - Sz. Marikaek @ 1 + Emeseek @ 6:30 -- had fun playing board games, hehe ;3
Jun 24 - Barnes and Noble~ bought a lot of books, then headed to Wetzel Pretzels
Jun 26 - Ate at Cheesecake Factory (grad night gift), food was good, but portions weren't epic, cheesecake was delicious and satisfying...Karaoke @ Famous Sam’s with Sean and Laura :D We sang a bunch of songs (I sang like 8 XD). Warm greetings were nice =3 It was a fun night ~ Stayed there til 11...haha
Jun 27 - Mall Brawl and Yogurtland with Ashley~ Yogurtland was a lot like Orange Leaf, tbh, except it had different flavors
Jun 28 - Debra came over ~~ made jewelry, played board games, swam in jacuzzi - she headed to UA the next day, fun times
Jun 29 - Laura came over -- made jewelry, played Apples to Apples, swam in pool and jacuzzi, she gave me a turtle as a souvenir.. when we got out of pool, we decided to head to the playground to play on the swings -- a random dog was following us for like an hour XD it was so attached to us ~ couldn't make it stop following us... went to playground in bathing suits, tried to lose it but couldn't... headed to jacuzzi at 8:30 -- played a game where you had to spin around and say a fish/action movie title xD fun fun
Going on an epic road trip next week for two weeks to Yellowstone, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Colorado. Should be a blast :D
