Wow, it has been 6 years since I posted anything on here.

Hello guys! Times have changed a lot since I was last on here.

I have been working for a software company that creates software for terminals used for transactions in stores and restaurants.

I am grateful for my job that allows me to work flexibly (and sometimes remotely) and the friends I have come to know there (especially my Mexican friend, who teaches me a great deal about writing cleaner code and whom I can practice my Spanish with).

I have been studying Android extensively the past few months and hope to release some more apps soon!

Nov 7 – Women in Engineering (Philanthropy Grant) and met with Ryan to discuss project ideas in library… ate some grilled cheese turkey sandwich at Jack in the Box…long walk trudging there :P very muddy due to rain >.<

This weekend has been great~ Things went according to plan!

I went to Saboten Con with Ashley, Lorraine, Isabela, Connor, Nia, and Robbie. I met with a whole bunch of people, explored the vendor hall, and went to a lot of panels — most notably the Yu-Gi-Oh! panel, Voice Actor Q & A, Masquerade, and Sabo Dark Rave. :]

Sunday I relaxed after spending 12 hours at the con :V

Today (Monday) I took the light rail to Tempe to visit some old friends~ I met with Adrienne, Dillon, Erin, Geoffrey, and Sunny — some of whom I haven’t seen in forever. They haven’t changed that much. C: Eating at Pitchforks in the MU was fun~ we joked about how I could ‘live’ there, since I was spending much of today just chillin’ in the MU, waiting for friends, haha.

So, this weekend was fantastic. Now back to work -_-

Ardent August

Aug 3 - Debs at 3:45... Watched anime, looked up anime and manga, kpop vids, looked at pics of our college buildings/dorms, discussed schedules, played just dance...she left at 6:30 before the storm hit

Aug 4 - picked up Ann at 4...she wrote in yearbook, showed each other our agendas, exchanged addresses and phone numbers, installed text now on her itouch (she has the same case as me!), texted Liezel and Beccah with itouch, made paper dolls as mementos to bring along to college and take pics with, took pictures, made postcards, ate sausage, rice, lemon cake,ate ice cream, watched dr. Who ep (blink), played just dance...parents came back from open house..took her home at 9:30... She might visit next summer..if she does, we'll have orange leaf with her, Liezel, Beccah, Patrick, and Sydiongco twins~ :) going all the way to Vassar.. T.T I'll miss her but now we have texting <3

Aug 5 - Aakriti at 3:30, apples to apples with her and her bro, ate mushroom and spinach pizzas, ice cream, lemon cake, just dance, wii bowling..left at 5:30.. Nice to see them, it has been two years..will see them over fall break :]

Hi all~

Summer break has been pretty chill ~ though, I wish it was cooler.. This is what took place in June:

I graduated high school on June 1st. :O

Arrived at 7:30 [Emeseek, Andiek]

People were standing around taking pics, hugging teachers, drinking water

All the girls got a blue rose, which we didn’t really know where to put, lol

Saw Andrea, Ashlie, Ann, Jessica Stewart..found my walking buddy, Whitni ^^

Saw Mr. Root, Ms. Lewis, and Ms. Sheble (practically all of my teachers)

Lined up behind Antonio and in front of Brenden, waiting for ceremony to start

Walked across the field – teachers were waving at us with kind smiles and cheering us on :D

Principal delivered remarks about school…national anthem

Introducing valedictorian and salutatorian – EE-Lynn and Rohit

Tyler and Patrick delivered their speeches…Tyler’s was about FB, Patrick’s was about Super Mario World, haha [so epic!! Everyone was laughing]

Then, Distinguished Scholars turn… Hartrick handed out diplomas to everyone… I was the 8^th graduate!! :D [IB candidates went depending on GPAs]

After that, High Honors Scholars…there were a lot more of them than Distinguished…

Then, everyone else (the other 500+ people left…some with Honors,...

May itself was pretty bittersweet, but moreso sweet. Here’s what went down:

After a fantastic night at Prom, I rested and began studying for my AP exams. The first one I took was the APES one. I thought that it was doable since I read the book the night before, but for anyone merely going by lecture notes, it was pretty hard. I kicked butt on the FRQs. Then I had Calc. Calc was really hard. :O It was nothing like the practice stuff Hartrick gave us. I was disappointed. I am praying for a 3, but just in case, I’ve decided to take the CLEP exam for college credit.

The following week was super busy. I had Senior Scholarship Night, where the seniors were commended for receiving scholarships as a result of their hard work. Then, I took the AP English test, which was pretty good, and headed to the Chevy Drive For Perfection raffle, which I was invited to mainly because of my 98% attendance at school. Unfortunately, I didn’t win anything, not even the Chevy. None of the students from Chandler won. =( But we all got delicious chicken, chips, cookies, and free t-shirts, so...
