Fourth of July weekend – rather uneventful, mainly packing for trip to Yellowstone
Yellowstone trip:
Day 1 – Jul 5
Left at 9:30
Bought raincoats in Flagstaff
Walked in downtown Flagstaff
Sizzler
Glen Canyon Dam
Lake Powell + beach at the lake
Hot weather, but wind felt good
Slept at Motel 6 in Page
Day 2 – Jul 6
Grand Canyon (North Rim), greener and farther up than South Rim
McDonald's in Kanab (shishkabob xP)
Zion Canyon
Hot weather :o
Travellodge in Hurricane, Utah
Day 3 – Jul 7
On the road again....
Breakfast - cereal, honey buns
Burger King stop
Arrive at Days Inn in Provo, Utah at 3
Sunrise Ski Resort
Chili's
Historic Downtown Provo (very Europeanesque)
Still hot...cooler in mts...got humid, huge storm! So we went to Chili's
Day 4 – Jul 8
Breakfast at Day's Inn - fruit, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, bagels
Waterfall in Provo (look up exact name)

Lift at Sunrise Ski Resort--fortunate enough to go on last ride
Downtown Provo
BYU
Burger King stop
California Pizza Kitchen - in downtown Salt Lake City
Walking in downtown Salt Lake City, saw a lot of temples, adorned with flowers, carriages, bagpipe player
Stopped at Sonic for vanilla cones, grocery store for milk
Slept at Howard Johnson Express Inn
Nice weather...very little rain..hot in Salt Lake
Day 5 – Jul 9
Breakfast at Howard Johnson Express Inn - oatmeal, bagels, Danishes, bear claws, frosted flakes
Salt Lake City
Antelope Island
-visitor center
-saw horde of bison
-Swimming at beach in great salt lake (Antelope)
-there for 3 hours
-fly attack, gooey mud, then water
-water not that deep, but we were able to float
Grocery shopping at Smith's (kinda like Fry's)
KFC
Wash hair
Day 6 – Jul 10
Same breakfast as previous day
Drive to Yellowstone, WY
Arrived at Little Bear Cabin at 5 at Idaho Park, ID...bigger than anticipated
Ate at home, walked around cabin
Watched Rush Hour and Doctor Who, since cable did not work
Day 7 – Jul 11
Ate at cabin
Yellowstone National Park
Geysers, a falls
Old Faithful - huge geyser!
Ate dinner at lodge - alfredo pastas, vegetable lasagna, soup, BBQ pork sandwich, soft drinks + ice cream cones :Q
Watched Yellowstone movie in theater, browsed gift shops, bought souvenirs
Shopped at mini supermarket (hella expensive)
Nice, cool breezy weather...rained at 8 pm, as well as thunder and lightning
Day 8 – Jul 12
Breakfast in cabin
Yellowstone
Rained cats and dogs on the way to Mammoth Hot Springs, couldn't really stop at any stops, saw lots of bison and elk
Visitor center
Mammoth Hot Springs trail
Ate fish and chips at Mammoth Grill
Stop by nearby hot springs on way home
Bought souvenirs at Yellowstone Mall
Rained as we got home
Day 9 – Jul 13
Breakfast in cabin
The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone
Stops here and there, snowy mountains, waterfall
Saw some elk, an antelope, and bison on the road, as well as a BEAR! IT WAS SWIMMING TOO!
Ate at KFC :D
Slept at Super 8 in Idaho Falls, ID
nice weather...pretty sunny, looked like it was going to rain, rained a little
Day 10 – Jul 14
Breakfast - waffles, oatmeal, cereal, muffin...

Jul 17 – Katie’s dessert party @ 2:30 (stayed til 5:30, we ate desserts, chatted about Black Butler, Jessi steps on Jordan XD, throwing balloons in Katie’s room…)
Karaoke from 7-11 at Famous Sam’s with Sean, Laura, and Aleesya (sp?), gave him souvenir, didn’t get to sing very much because a lot of people from the bar were singing.. sang 2-3 songs each
Worked on Java program and college stuff later that week . . .
Jul 22 – Erin @ 2-ish, Just Dance, Apples to Apples, chatting about summer, friends, good memories/times :]
Jul 23 – Harry Potter @ 12:10 with Sean, Laura, and Robbie… made random comments during movie, lolol… headed to Barnes and Noble, Sean left around 3, went to Apple store and a few other stores with Laura, left @ 3:30
Went to Nora’s place @ 6, got my dress trimmed ^^, ate lots of food :3 [I was stuffed xP]
Jul 26 – Indigo @ 3 – went to Skateland, not very crowded, left at 5 – watched YT videos, Just Dance, Jacuzzi, pool (Jacuzzi was hella hot D: it was 99 degrees, so we quickly went to the pool), she left at 9:30.. I hope to see her again when she visits during the breaks J
Jul 28 – Baked delicious lemon tarts, Marisol @ 4:30 – signed my yearbook, played Just Dance, talked about our trips, she left @ 6:00.. unfortunately Ann couldn’t come over due to lack of a ride… I really wanted to see her before she leaves, though! :/
Jul 29 – Ashley @ 2:30, watching anime vids, prepping for Sabo…
Jul 30 – Bought stereo at Best Buy…need to wait for them to order it and get to the store Shopped at Target and JC Penney
Ate Subway~
Jul 31 – Church, shopping at Fry’s with 3 different carts, 3 of us paying separately for good deals :B
